The 1000P is extremely rugged and the enhanced power of the 1 watt infrared (IR) beam is visible by high-altitude aircraft, making the IZLID 1000P optimal for air to ground communication. The beam is effective out to 43km and can be easily adjusted into a flood setting, visible at 0.8° out to 7km.
The IZLID 1000P is boresightable for azimuth and elevation and can be used tripod mounted or handheld, or attached to a MIL-STD-1913 rail.
